Nanjing citizens need only swipe a bracelet to use public transport.
The Citizen card bracelet can be used to pay for rides on buses, the subway, taxis, public bicycles and car parking. It also has smart functions with apps to measure how far you walk every day, count calories and assess sleep quality.
At present, users have been able to wear the bracelet and pay for nearly all forms of public transport in Nanjing. It can be recharged online and pay in specified merchants with discounts.
Given the current bus card in Nanjing can be used in more than 110 cities, users can wear the bracelet and swipe it in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Beijing, Tianjin and Shandong.
