The Provincial NPC Standing Committee has opened a comprehensive budget inquiry system under networked supervision to enable the real-time and supervision of the expenditure of the government finance throughout the process.
The newly-opened budget monitoring system eliminates the cumbersome procedures to make it easy to find information from the mountain of data and gain an insight into the whole process of government financial expenditure from application, approval to expenditure with a single click of the mouse.It is also apparent to the eyes as to when the expenditure is disbursed, where it is allocated, and where it is used.
A major change brought about by the networked budget monitoring system is to make the NPC supervise the government’s budget expenditure from being made beforehand or afterward to real-time online supervision throughout the process, which is expected to greatly improve the budget review and supervision of the timeliness and information integrity and effectively curb the retention of funds in the middle link and rush the expenditure of surplus funds before the end of a fiscal period.
The networked budget monitoring system will be extended to the regional and district cities and counties in the future for vertical penetration.
