It has been a tradition for the people in Wuxi to enjoy the lantern festival in early autumn. The Wuxi Plum Garden Lantern Festival was kicked off over the weekend for the eighth consecutive year to produce colorful lights with fantasy laser light and shadow art lighting up the night sky.
At seven o'clock in the evening, the festive lanterns in the Plum Garden were lit up to decorate the scenic spots into a gorgeous view. Ocean-themed design varying from fish channel, island ship, cartoon ocean light sets to lovely clown fish and large whales and sharks let tourists feel as if being immersed in a colorful sea.
A beautiful wisdom tree has been made out of a large number of optical fiber lampswith more than 10,000 fiber-optic lights falling from the tree like waterfalls, echoing the looming light at the foot of the tree. It took 50 craftsmen one monthto give visitors a new visual enjoyment.
By continuing the traditional classic of the lantern festival, the perfect integration of themusicand the laser in front of the lake made the visual and auditory integration more breathtaking.
Clown masters from home and abroad also gave a strong boost to this year's lantern festival by performing humorous pantomime, puppet shows and acrobatics to entertain the visitors.
