Ancient popularity revived again
Divided into Physical Group and Concept Group, this competition has received 247 entries, and 29 of them are remarkably competitive. The golden prize of Physical Group goes to a work of art inspired by the chicken-spouted ewer in Six Dynasties. According to our reporter, the chicken-spouted ewer used to be a Chinaware popular during the years between the Western Jin Dynasty and Tang Dynasty. It resembled the head of a chicken and therefore got its name. The designer makes this chinaware popular in ancient China popular again. For example, this is a bowl for soup, its lid could be used as a fruit-container. The series of products could meet people’s daily need to contain seasonings or to warm the liquor.
Zhao Xiuhao from Academy of Art Design, Guangxi Normal University has won the golden prize in Concept Group. He has designed a six-face seal which carries an ancient style and can effectively protect your password in bills and personal letters and email. Having a small roller, this seal could cover the original information when you roll it on the package.
Unique creations catching the eye
What’s more, the eave-tile jewelry, colorful Nanjing pendants, paper-cuttings from legendary stories and other eye-catching products are also on exhibition. Carrying the mission to promote Nanjing city, these products make bridges for creative ideas and marketing.
