The Jiangsu delegation to the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress held a plenary meeting Monday afternoon to review a slew of documents endorsed by the country’s annual legislative session.
Lou Qinjian, head of the Jiangsu delegation, secretary of the provincial party committee, and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress attended the deliberation.
Wu Zhenglong, deputy head of the delegation, deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Jiangsu, attended the meeting.
Among the top provincial leaders attending the meeting were Jiang Zhuoqing and Chen Zhenning, deputy heads of the Jiangsu delegation.
Wang Like, deputy head of the delegation, presided over the meeting.
According to the schedule of the legislative session, the plenary meeting reviewed the report on the work of the government, the implementation of the national economic and social development plan for 2017, the national economic and social development plan for 2018, the implementation of central and local budgets for 2017, the central and local budgets for 2018, the draft resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuratorate. The deputies unanimously agreed with the draft resolution and the voting draft.
