Xuanwu Lake, number 3 in the top 7 of Nanjing's most visited spots during Tombsweeping Festival 2018
The pleasant spring weather has helped give a boost to tourism in Nanjing over the Tombsweeping Festival that has just concluded, with people flocking to the city’s scenic spots in their droves.
After closing at the end of the holiday, visitors to Nanjing’s many and varied attractions had totalled 2,163,900.
Of this total, Nanjing’s seven major tourist hot spots reported a total of 1,456,600 visitors over the 3-day Tombsweeping Festival, broken down as follows.
Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum; 395,000 visitors
Xuanwu Lake; 226,700 visitors
Presidential Palace; 80,600 visitors
Yuhuatai; 55,000 visitors
Niushou Mountain Cultural and Tourist Area; 28,800 visitors
Grand Bao’en Temple Ruins Park (Porcelain Pagoda); 10,500 visitors
