More than 200 kinds of specialty agricultural products native to northwest China’s Shaanxi province were put up for display and promotion Tuesday at the Jiangsu International Agricultural Exhibition Center. This is the first time for Jiangsu and Shaanxi to have jointly organized a large-scale featured agricultural product promotion fair.
These large and red apples from the Mulinsen planting cooperative in Baoji, Shaanxi, benefited from the poverty alleviation project of the cooperation between Jiangsu and Shaanxi provinces, enabling the local farmers to sell their farm produce outside of Shaanxi rather than marketing their products all by themselves.
As a major agricultural province, Shaanxi is known for its specialty products such as kiwifruit, tea, dried persimmons, and Qinchuan beef.
More than 100 companies from more than 10 cities and regions in Shaanxi participated in the specialty agricultural product promotion week which will run until Thursday.
