As an annual event taking place in Liyang in East China’s Jiangsu Province, 2018 China - Liyang Tea Festival and Tianmu Lake Tourism Festival kicked off Tuesday, marking the beginning of one-month long tea experiencing and traditional Chinese performances.
Held in Yanhu Park, the opening ceremony enjoyed the attendance of nearly 1,000 representatives including delegation groups, entrepreneurs, cyber stars and traveling agents. Having gone through over ten years and developed into a name card of the city, the opening ceremony of tea festival meanwhile witnessed the signing of 11 projects with a domestic investment of 9.2 billion RMB and a foreign investment of 6.7 million USD.
A county-level city located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, Liyang prides itself on tea culture and Tianmuhu Scenic Spot. Getting the world attention with its specialties, Liyang also presents three newly designed tourism routes and a series of traditional performances like dragon dance and dough figurines on this festival.
