International Marxism scholars share research in Nanjing

  To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx, the Center for Studies of Marxist Social Theory at Nanjing University has invited six foremost experts to hold lectures and international courses at the university, carrying dialogues and communication on Marxist theory studies for one month.  

  From May 2 to 4, lectures will be given separately by Professor Fred Moseley from the Department of Economics of Mount Holyoke College, U.S., Professor Terrell Carver from the University of Bristol, U.K. and also and a member of Academy of Social Sciences, Associate Professor George C. Comninel from the Department of Political Science, the York University of Canada, and Professor Seongjin Jeong from the Department of Economics of South Korea’s Gyeongsang National University. Professor David Harvey with the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) and also a lecturer at the London School of Economics will offer eight lessons from May 9 to 31  

  Bernard Stiegler, the renowned French modern philosopher, already set up a short-term international course in Nanjing University.
