1,087 students in Suzhou City have been admitted into the world’s top 100 universities this year. Liu Xinchen, a senior high school graduate of Suzhou Senior High School, took the SAT this year to score 1,550 points out of a total of 1600 and 116 on TOEFL out of total scores of 120. When his peers were preparing for the college entrance examination, he had already received letter of admission from more than a dozen of the world's top 100 universities. He eventually chose Duke University. 1,087 students in Suzhou City this year were admitted into the world’s top 100 universities. In the meantime, the number of students admitted by Oxford and Cambridge reached a new high with 13 students admitted into Oxford University and Cambridge University. Five students were admitted to colleges and universities in the Ivy League in the United States.
