Starting on August 1st, the original customs declaration and clearance form will be merged into one unified customs declaration form. The integrated declaration has also become a landmark reform measure after the integration of customs and quarantine inspection. The integrated declaration is the first step in the integration of customs and quarantine inspection. After streamlining, the number of the original customs declaration and inspection items was reduced from 229 to 105 through mergers. The number of documents attached to the import declaration sheets was reduced from 74 to 10 while the number of the import declaration supervision documents was cut from 102 to 64. The reform has greatly improved the original work flow and helped the customs to establish a data information system for overall risk prevention and control.
