He said that the success of the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum promises a new blueprint for China-Africa cooperation and win-win development as President Xi Jinping announced eight action plans for Sino-African cooperation at the summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, pledging $60 billion for Africa's development, and cancelled the debts of the least developed African countries.
Lou said we will conscientiously implement the achievements of the Beijing Summit and carry out the eight action plan to help with Africa's development, and make positive contributions to the continuous advancement of China-Africa strategic partnership.
After briefing the Cape Verde guests on the economic and social development of Jiangsu, Lou Qinjian said that Jiangsu is willing to share its development experience with Cape Verde, encourage local enterprises to invest in Cape Verde, strengthen humanities exchanges, and carry out pragmatic cooperation in infrastructure construction, marine economy, sports, education and other fields so as to promote the traditional friendship and friendly cooperative relations between China and Cape Verde.
Silva said that the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum will promote the in-depth development of Africa-China cooperation and open a new era of non-Chinese cooperation.
According to the Prime Minister, Cape Verde has a superior geographical position and in recent years, it has maintained stable social and economic development.
Mr. Silva said Cape Verde is willing to learn from the experience of Jiangsu's reform and opening up, especially in the development of industrial parks, and promote the cooperation between the two sides in infrastructure construction, marine economy and sports, and strengthen the role of the Cape Verdean students in Jiangsu so as to enhance the friendship between the two sides.
