Huai’an City held the award ceremony for the city’s recent innovation and entrepreneurship contest for young people on Sept. 28.
The competition, launched in July, attracted 100 startup teams in fields of new materials, new energy, modern agriculture, e-commerce, cultural innovation, "Internet +" and Big Data.
At the ceremony, representatives of outstanding projects shared their startup experiences and promoted their projects. Some venture funds signed agreements of investment intention, and some business incubation bases also reached deals to host the projects. The “Huai’an Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Database” was launched too.
Four venture capital institutes said they were willing to invest in about 10 projects. Three business incubation bases were in negotiation of hosting more than 20 projects. Several banks also agreed to provide financial credit services.
