The provincial government recently issued the "Implementation Opinions on Establishing a Rehabilitation System for Disabled Children" to further improve the rehabilitation and relief service system for disabled children in the province. The reliefs stipulated in the opinion include basic rehabilitation training for children with disabilities and autistic children such as sight, hearing, speech, limbs, and mental retardation, adaptation of assistive devices for children with visual acuity, hearing, and physical disabilities, the equipment of cochlear implants for children of hearing impairment with indications for surgical adjustment and cochlear implant surgery and postoperative basic rehabilitation training. The standard will increase by 20%-30%for rehabilitation and assistance for disabled children with financial difficulties.
