The Provincial People’s Congress of Jiangsu held a Party Committee meeting Tuesday morning to be briefed on the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the 5th session of the Central Leading Group for Comprehensive Deepening Reform.
On behalf of Lou Qinjian, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and Secretary of the PPC Party Committee, Chen Zhenning, executive deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and deputy secretary of the party group, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Deputy Chairpersons Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Wei Guoqiang and Qu Futian attended the meeting.
They participants were briefed on the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the 5th session of the Central Leading Group For Comprehensive Deepening Reform.
They were also briefed on the speech made by Secretary Lou Qinjian at meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the Implementation of the Budget Review and Supervision of the Expenditure Budget and Policy Development.
The meeting passed the "Working Rules of the Party Committee of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress", " Opinions of the Party Committee of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress on Further Improving the Quality of Local Legislation", and "Opinions of the Party Committee of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress on Strengthening and Improving Law Enforcement Inspection Work".
Chen Zhenning presided over the twenty-fourth chairperson meeting of the 13th Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee to make arrangements for the key tasks of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee in December.
