The 9th bauma China, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles, opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on November 27, attracting 3,300 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions.
Jiangsu-made manufacturing machinery and equipment have attracted wide attention at the fair. A 700-ton hydraulic excavator, known as the biggest digger in China, drew a large crowd. This three-floor high machine can remove 50 tons in a single load and is able to complete the shipping of 30,000 tons of coal in just eight hours. According to reports, the device achieved the breakthroughs in core technologies, making China the fourth country in the world to be able to design, R&D and manufacture hydraulic excavators with a capacity of over 700 tons.
At the exhibition, XCMG Group, a Chinese multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company with headquarters in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, showcased 79 units, 41 sets of parts and other displays that reveal the company’s progress in intelligent manufacturing. The products included the all-terrain crane XCA1600 at the world’s largest tonnage, heavy machinery set with China’s largest tonnage, and reduction gear that broke the monopoly by other countries.
