Jiangsu College of Transportation marked its 40th anniversary on Tuesday. The college was inaugurated in 1978 from the merger of Jiangsu automobile technician school and Zhenjiang transportation technical school. Over the past four decades, the college has trained nearly 100000 high caliber technicians by giving full play to its philosophy of serving the society and boosting the transportation industry. It has come up with a professional system that basically matches the comprehensive transportation system, and built a multi-level school-running pattern with undergraduate, associate degree programs, and technician training.
