Gaoyou Lake, the sixth largest freshwater lake in China, has become a paradise for migratory birds thanks to local government's great efforts in ecological protection.
By the virtue of its fertile wetland and rich natural resources, it is an ideal habitat for water fowls including ducks, cormorants, white coots and oriental storks.
