Jean-Jacques de Dardel, Swiss Ambassador to China, and his contingent paid a visit to SIP on Jan 21, and received a warm welcome from the local officials led by Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee.
In the company of the SIP officials, the guests first had a tour around Roche Diagnostics (Suzhou) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary founded by Swiss healthcare company Roche in SIP in 2015, and listened to the company executives' introduction to their current development and future plans.
The Swiss and SIP officials then had a meeting. Sun Yanyan, deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, gave the guests a specific introduction to SIP's economic and social development, while the ambassador gave high comments on SIP's business environment and expected that SIP authorities can provide more support to Swiss enterprises seeking a development in the area.
