He demanded that Party organizations and leading cadres at all levels should take the study and implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech as a major political task, profoundly understand the important judgment of "overwhelming victory in the anti-corruption struggle", and give full play to role of leading officials at all levels as the leading wild goose in the management and governance of the partyin order to ensure that the party's construction is promoted and deepened in a comprehensive way.
The CPC Provincial chief said that since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, party organizations at all levels in the province have adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, placed strict party governance on the top of the agenda, and enhanced the responsibility for governing the party so as to strengthen political construction and improve party style for the effective punishment of corruption and the enhancement of people’s sense of satisfaction and sense of gain.
Lou Qinjian noted that party officials at all levels should be conscious of the prominent contradictions in the current management and governance of the party, as is evidenced by the weak foundation of the"four consciousnesses"for a small number of party members, the continuation of formalism and bureaucracy despite repeated prohibition, the prominent violation of laws and regulations by the leading officials and the corruptionvulnerabilities in key areas, which fully confirms the scientific judgment of the Party Central Committee that "the anti-corruption struggle is still severe and complicated, and the party still has a long way to go in strict governance."
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and also a crucial year for achieving the first centenary goal, Lou said, adding that efforts must be made to practice new ideas with a good style, respond to various risk challenges with a struggling stance, and lead the people to sprint a comprehensive well-off society at a high-level with a good image.
Lou Qinjian pointed out that it is important to strengthen the party's political construction by arming the mind with Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, adhere to the "four consciousnesses" and uphold the authority and the centralized, unified leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, win the battles of preventing and defusing financial risks、targeted poverty alleviation and pollution control so as to implement major strategies,optimize economic development, focus on key areas such as the environment, strengthen supervision and inspection to ensure that the decision-making and deployment of the central government are implemented at the grassroots level.
The CPC Provincial chief stressed that leading officials should implement the norms of political life within the party, take the lead in upholding the authority and the centralized, unified leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, conduct democratic centralism on the combination of collective leadership and individual division of labor.
He also called for the discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels in the province to study and implement Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, strengthen team building, improve internal control mechanisms, and safeguard party discipline and the laws of the state and political ecology.
