Construction of large investment projects are in full swing in Xuzhou and Zhenjiang as local governments are giving full play to the development of specialty industries to lay a solid foundation for their high quality growth.
The XCMG fire safety equipment manufacturing base under construction is the largest of its kind in the country. 85% of the construction on the base plant has been finished with the final work underway and the equipment commissioning about to begin. It is expected that the base will be put into production in late July.
Upon the completion of the project, the original single production system of XCMG firefighting equipment will be expanded into an intelligent, digital and modern manufacturing system integrating R&D, production and testing to come up with an annual output of 1,500 fire engines and 15,000 aerial work platform products.
In Danyang Economic Development Zone, construction on Yuwell Life Science Industrial Park is in full swing as its main structure of the main building has been finished. With the interior decoration underway, the project is expected to be completed in May to get ready for official opening. When put into production, the project will mainly produce medical equipment such as medical appliances, rehabilitation care, digital imaging and implant consumables to generate more than 10 billion yuan in annual sales and 1 billion yuan in profits and taxes.
