30 nautical miles off the Port of Binhai County stands the largest offshore wind farm in Asia with 125 wind turbines working continuously to deliver green and clean energy to the national grid.
At present, Binhai North H1 and H2 offshore wind power projects have been connected to the grid with a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts. The annual power generation is equivalent to one year's electricity consumption of 1.7 million households. At the moment, the H3 project has started construction.
Taizhou Jinneng Copper Indium Gallium Selenide Thin Film Solar Cell Project has a total investment of 8 billion yuan, mainly producing CIGS thin film solar cells. The project is expected to be officially put into operation in April this year, with an annual production capacity of 150 MW.
As the first thin-film solar cell project in Taizhou City, the project is also the first industrialization project in China to realize the mass production and international technology of CIGS thin-film solar cells. The settlement of this project has helped to boost the industrial level and industrial structure of the strategic emerging industries of Taizhou's energy-saving and new energy industries.
