A research team of the CPPCC Committee for Economic Affairs visited Jiangsu from Monday to Wednesday to learn about the province’s efforts on developing intelligentmanufacturing and promoting deep integration of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and manufacturing. The inspection team was headed by Yu Guangzhou, vice chairman of the CPPCC Committee for Economic Affairs. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the provincial committee of the CPPCC, participated in the research tour.
Yu Guangzhou said that the Party Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to the development of the manufacturing industry. General Secretary Xi Jinping has made important instructions on the development of the manufacturing industry on various occasions, especially at the Central Economic Work Conference.
The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will hold a special meeting of the Standing Committee on the topic of "promoting high-quality development of manufacturing industry" in June, Yu said.
Huang Lixin said that in recent years, Jiangsu has guided enterprises to build intelligent workshops, speed up the formulation of intelligent manufacturing standards, accelerate the construction of intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories, promote the creation of ecological chains for intelligent manufacturing, propel the integration of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and manufacturing so as to boost the healthy development of the province’s intelligent manufacturing industry, provide strong support for the materialization of a well-off society with a high level of success and speed up the construction of a new and stronger Jiangsu province.
She hoped that the research team will provide valuable opinions and suggestions on Jiangsu's economic work, and better promote the high-quality development of Jiangsu’s intelligent manufacturing.
The research team of the CPPCC Committee for Economic Affairs visited Nanjing and Suzhou during its tour in Jiangsu.
