He is a pioneer of China’s reform and opening up. He is one of the 25 most influential business leaders in the world. He is the founder and former executive of the world's largest personal computer manufacturer. This is Liu Chuanzhi, chairman of Legend Holdings and the founder of Lenovo Group. As a native of Jiangsu, he has been committed to supporting the development of his hometown for the past decades. Let’s take a close look.
Lenovo Holdings, located in the hinterland of Zhongguancun in Beijing, has experienced many gorgeous turnarounds from ordinary start-ups to large-scale computer manufacturers to China's top 500 and leading domestic diversified investment holding companies.
Talking about his life experience, Liu Chuanzhi started from Zhenjiang, his hometown. The 75-year-old said he returned to Zhenjiang with his parents for the first time at the age of 9. At that time, the hometown was underdeveloped but the flavor of his hometown was buried deep in his memory.

My biggest impression was that everybody was talking about the pot lid noodle.
Since then, the young Liu Chuanzhi went to Xi'an, Chengdu, Beijing and other places for further education scientific research, and has always been at the forefront of computer science research.
In 1984, at the age of 40, he quit his job and launched Lenovo Group with ten other technicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Under the leadership of Liu Chuanzhi, Lenovo became the top brand in the domestic computer market. Liu Chuanzhi attributed all this to cleverness and diligence of the Jiangsu people, which is rooted in the bones.
