15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair was kicked off in Shenzhen city, south China’s Guangdong Province.
The Jiangsu venue has a total of five exhibition areas including Jiangsu Comprehensive Pavilion, Digital Publishing Hall, Nanjing Pavilion, Xuzhou Pavilion and Changzhou Pavilion. The total exhibition area is 1070 square meters.
The Jiangsu venue is focused on the exhibition of the province’s efforts for high-quality development, intangible cultural heritage protection, and the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt. The creative culture pavilions established by Nanjing, Changzhou and Xuzhou also highlighted their regional characteristics and advantages with its unique and ingenious cultural creations. The city of Xuzhou signed 10 projects with a contract value of 4.04 billion yuan.
Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, Xinhua Newspaper Group, Phoenix Publishing, Jiangsu Cable and other provincial-level backbone cultural groups exhibited a variety of media products featuring diverse forms, advanced means and competitiveness. The litchi cloud platform of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation has been rated to measure up to the international level by the Federation of China Radio, Film and Television Social Organizations. It has been identified as the only provincial-level technical support platform for the construction of county-level integrated media centers in Jiangsu Province.
The creative cultural products exhibited by eight cities along the Grand Canal turned out to be among the most eye-catching.
The list of top 30 cultural enterprises in China was released at the fair. The Phoenix Publishing Media Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Provincial Broadcasting and Television Cable Information Network Co., Ltd were among the winners.
The China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, held from May 17 to 20, 2013, in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre, is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the General Administration of Press and Publication, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangdong Provincial People’s Government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. As the only national-level, internationalized and integrated cultural industries fair in China, ICIF focuses on exposition and trade and is committed to building the trade platform for China’s cultural industrial products and projects, promoting and driving the development of China’s cultural industries and actively advancing the globalization of Chinese cultural products.
