Yangzhou, a historical and cultural city in Jiangsu Province, promotes the International Horticultural Exposition that it will host in 2021 during the "Jiangsu Day" at the ongoing Beijing horticultural expo.
Yangzhou horticultural expo, themed ‘green city and healthy life’, will consist of 24 scenic areas, each with its own characteristics and functions, said Ding Xuehai, executive deputy mayor of Yizheng, a county-level city under the administration of Yangzhou.
Yangzhou horticultural expo will be located in the heartland of Zaolinwan Scenic Spot, with a planned area of 220 hectares. The venue aims to develop into a demonstration zone for healthcare industry, a resort, and a garden-like community.
After the conclusion of the expo, the venue will be renovated to house amenities such as hotels, conference halls, research centers, cultural experience areas, restaurants, and team building facilities. It’s expected to become a hub of gardening, parks for children, cultural and recreational activities, healthcare, resort and high-end residential areas.
