The Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Zone Development Alliance was established in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province on Friday. Launched by Kunshan, Xiamen of Fujian province, Guangxi, Sichuan, and Hubei, the first national-level regional cooperation platform across the Taiwan Straits will jointly launch pilot projects on the docking of cross-strait industries, financial innovation cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges that are expected to be duplicated elsewhere in the country. At the same time, Huai'an City signed a contract with Kunshan City to jointly build the Huai’an-Kunshan Taiwan-funded Enterprises Cooperative Industrial Park in a bid to create a new demonstration of cross-strait industrial integration development, and a new benchmark for mutual cooperation between the southern region and the northern region of Jiangsu.
