East China’s Jiangsu province has launched an employment internship summer camp for college students from Taiwan. More than 100 Taiwanese college students attended the summer camp that got underway Wednesday morning in Nanjing. Themed on hand in hand and heart for heart, the summer camp is meant to help Taiwanese youth to seek business opportunities in the mainland. Jiangsu has for the first time launched a special fund to aid the internship programs of Taiwanese students. A supportive internship scholarship has also been launched. More than 1600 internship vacancies are available to Taiwanese students. They range from finance, law, medical service, news media and many other sectors. More than 1000 Taiwanese youth are expected to be interns in Jiangsu this year.
