Taicang, Jiangsu province, has announced some new campaigns to help Yuping Dong autonomous county, Southwest China's Guizhou, rise out of poverty, local media reported on July 17.
The campaigns involve cooperation and exchange programs concerning education, healthcare, and agriculture.
There will be exchanges between senior education professionals, joint-training programs for teachers and students, as well as guidance on research projects.
Taicang will share with Yuping its healthcare resources, including discipline development, doctor training, staff management, and medical technology. Some of the most experiences doctors in Taicang will be stationed in Yuping, group by group.
In addition, Taicang and Yuping will build a pilot agricultural development zone for traditional Chinese medicine, integrating the functions of poverty-alleviation powerhouse, tourist resort and scientific education base.
