East China’s Jiangsu province has materialized 117 of the 153 quantitative indicators for women and children development planning, according a mid-term assessment report. The indicators are planned for realization by 2020. In line with the requirements put forth by the 6th plenary session of the 13th CPC Provincial Committee, Jiangsu will strive to promote the livelihood projects in women and children development in the six areas that include the promotion of domestic service, family education, day-care service for toddlers, helping with illiterate women with disabilities, the campaign for beautiful homeland and the twinning of children sister cities across the province.
