The global recruitment of volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Winter and Paralympic Games will be held on December 5, the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee said on Monday.
December 5th is the 34th International Volunteer Day. The Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee will announce on that day the global recruitment for volunteers, and issue invitations for volunteers to sign up.
The Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee plans to recruit 27,000 Winter Olympic Games volunteers and 12,000 Winter Paralympic Games volunteers. Volunteers will provide liaison services, competition operation services, media operation and broadcasting services, and venue operation services in the three competition venues of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.
The recruitment will last for one and a half years, until the recruitment system is closed on June 30, 2021. Volunteer recruitment will be completed by September 30, 2021.
