The Nanjing Jinling Cultural Protection and Development Foundation will launch a ten-year public welfare activity-"Nanjing Gift 2028 in a bid to celebrate the 2500th anniversary of the establishment of Nanjing in 2028. The event plans to find 10 city gifts for Nanjing every year starting from 2019 over a period of 10 years to select 100 "city gifts" by 2028. "Nanjing gift" can be a title, a building, a space, or a leaf scenery, a gourmet so long as it is the backbone of the cultural heritage of Nanjing that will contribute to the promotion of the city’s sustainable development.
