Two new high-speed railways went into operation on Monday. They are the Xuzhou-Yancheng high-speed railway and the Lianyungang-Huai’an section of the Lianyungang-Zhenjiang high-speed railway.
The Xuzhou-Yancheng high-speed railway starts from Xuzhou east railway station in the west and ends at Yancheng in the east. 9 stations are built along the rail track. The train will be operated at an hourly speed of 250 kilometers.
The Lianyungang-Huai’an section of the Lianyungang-Zhenjiang high-speed railway will be operated at 250 kilometers per hour. 4 stations are built along the 105-kilometer rail track that starts from Dongji in the north and ends at Huai’an in the south.
