East China’s Jiangsu province has strengthend its efforts to ensure the smooth resumption of work and production amid epidemic prevention and control so as to win victory in the overall promotion of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development.
Nanjing and Shenzhen Baoneng Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Wednesday.
Incorporating Nanjing Yanziji Riverside Headquarters Economic Gathering Area, Nanjing International Health Science and Technology City, and Baoneng East China Smart Supply Chain Linkong Industrial Park, the contract will bring 42.4 billion yuan of investment in headquarters economy, finance, health care, and logistics.
In the meantime, Jiangsu has spared no efforts to accelerate the resumption of work and production.
Construction re-started Wednesday on the Nanjing-Huai’an Intercity Railway.
The railway is an important part of the main skeleton of the "three vertical and four horizontal" railway network in Jiangsu.
It will cut the commute time from Nanjing to Huai’an to 1hr and a half.
CRRC Qishuyan Research Institute has received an order from Brazil for more than 600 sets of gear transmissions. With the strong support of the local government, the institute coordinated the supply chain, optimized the production process, and started production in full gear.
In the meantime, Jiangsu has resumed the transportation service with more than 2 million coaches hitting the highway on a daily basis.
Bus service has been resumed in the 13 prefectural cities and 97% of the counties or urban districts. 86.2% of the online car hailing service has been restored.
