Ren Zhenhe, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, urged greater efforts for rural revitalization through party building and industrial promotion so as to meet the goals of poverty alleviation and measure up to people’s expectations. He made the remarks from Wednesday to Thursday when going on an inspection tour in Maoshan Hill Area of Zhenjiang city.
Ren Zhenhe inspected Jurong County where he visited Tangling Village, Tianwang Town and Xifeng Village, Houbai Town, to learn more about the development of the local industry.
He spoke highly of the "party branch + cooperatives + farmers" mode in the process of rural industrial development and asked the village party organization to be a "mainstay" in the promotion of industrial development and help the farmers become wealthy.
When inspecting Daqo Group in Yangzhong County and Wanxin Optical in Danyang County, Ren asked the companies to seize the industrial highland and accelerate the pace of innovation.
The Deputy Provincial Party chief visited Lixin village of Yangzhong County where he spoke highly of the village’s efforts to enhance party building by complying with the needs of the grassroots people.
When inspecting the clean governance memorial hall of the New Fourth Army, Ren Zhenhe demanded that the revolutionary traditions are rich mines for ideological and political education for party members to bear in mind the founding mission in the construction of a new Jiangsu. the New Fourth Army was one of the two communist-led forces during the war of resistance against Japanese aggression.
During the inspection tour, Ren Zhenhe spoke highly of the contribution the people in the Maoshan Hill Area made to the revolutionary victories, making it an obligation for the party committees and governments at all levels to help the people in the area to lead a well-off life.
He demanded more efforts to intensify rural revitalization by following General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on poverty alleviation and giving full play to the role of the party organizations and party members at the grassroots level.
