The locomotive of China’s Fuxing bullet train was honored the gold award of the China Patent Design Award at the 16th China Wuxi International Design Expo that opened Saturday in Wuxi city, Jiangsu province.
A total of 10 gold awards, 15 silver awards, and 60 outstanding awards were decided at this expo. The locomotive of the Fuxing bullet train, which boasts a high speed of 350 kilometers per hour and resembles a "flying dragon", won the China Industrial Design Gold Award. The China Patent Award is the highest award in the field of intellectual property in China. Inaugurated in 2000, China Wuxi International Design Expo is the only design-themed exhibition hosted by the State Intellectual Property Office. Now it has developed into a national platform for design exhibition, information exchange, achievement transformation and international cooperation.
