The second Yangtze River Delta Jiangsu Business Summit kicked off Sunday in Shanghai in concurrence with the Second Congress of the Third Session of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
Yang Yue, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee addressed the opening ceremony.
Zheng Gangmiao, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, also delivered a speech.
Yang Yue demanded that the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai make greater efforts by following the right political direction so as to accurately understand the new development stage, act on the new development philosophy and accelerate the establishment of the new development paradigm.
He also called for the private businesses to make further efforts in strengthening international competitiveness by better tapping the domestic and international market so as to ensure sustainable development.
