Bosch Group, the world’s leading home appliances manufacturer, adopts an Asian elephant living in Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo. The ceremony of the adoption was held recently. Take a look!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo was facing challenges of reduced customers and income. Bosch Group then decided to adopt one of the Asian elephants in the zoo to help them out of the woods.
Meanwhile, Bosch Group donated 10 vacuum cleaners that was able to clean animal hairs for zoo-keepers as well as purchasing annual cards of the zoo for its employees who have participated in volunteer work.
Bosch Group’s relation with Hongshan Forest Zoo could date back to 10 years ago. In 2011, the group has donated 1 million RMB for the renovation of the Asian Elephant Enclosure, building a living environment that is similar to their habitats.
