To increase enterprises' investment in innovation and stimulate their innovation potentials, the municipal government of Huai'an awarded a sum of 44.5 million yuan of financial rewards and subsidies to 215 national high-tech enterprises approved in 2020.
Huai'an government has made a series of measures to encourage the enterprises to apply for the high-tech enterprise support program in recent years. First, it has awarded the financial rewards and subsidies of 76 million yuan to more than 700 enterprises and organized over then policy publicity campaigns for about 1000 enterprises. Second, it established a big data platform for the incubation of high-tech enterprises. Third, it put forward a pre-evaluation mechanism, which may help the enterprises to correct their mistakes in advance. Fourth, it established a "1+3" support mechanism covering the governments at the municipal, county, and township levels to solve the difficulties faced by the enterprises. All of these measures effectively promote the innovation and development of high-tech enterprises.
