Between 00:00 and 24:00, May 13, no new confirmed case was reported in Jiangsu. As of 24:00 of the day, 721 confirmed cases (including 90 imported ones) have been reported in Jiangsu cumulatively, and all have been discharged from hospitals except eight imported cases, which were still under isolated treatment at designated hospitals.
On May 13, four new asymptomatic cases from outside the Chinese mainland was reported in Jiangsu. As of 24:00 of the day, 24 asymptomatic cases were under medical supervision in isolation at designated hospitals.
So far, 19,030 close contacts with confirmed cases and asymptomatic carriers have been traced in Jiangsu, 18,808 of whom have been discharged and 222 are still under medical observation.

At the moment, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the globe has been on the rise for several weeks straight. The Chinese mainland is challenged by greater possibility of case importation, as a latent stronger pandemic is worsening the situation overseas. Therefore, we cannot loosen our efforts in containing COVID-19. It is strongly advised that those qualified for COVID-19 shots should get vaccinated proactively, along with personal protection routines, as part of the step to consolidate the outcomes of containing the virus.
1. Inoculation is considered the most effective way against COVID-19. Vaccinating the population in an orderly fashion to build herd immunity serves to mitigate the pandemic’s impacts and end its spread. For the health and safety of the self and the society, each individual is encouraged to take the vaccination on time and in order. Please contact local health authorities, centers for disease control and prevention or inoculation centers if there is a need for inoculation.
2. Manage your travel properly and show the health code as required. Avoid unnecessary trips to medium and high-risk regions. Those coming to Jiangsu from outside the Chinese mainland should use Jiangsu Health Code to declare health conditions and inform their community or employer upon arrival in Jiangsu and cooperate in conducting medical quarantine in designated facilities and Covid-19 nucleic acid tests.
3. Maintain good habits for health and take preventive measures. Reduce unnecessary gatherings. Serving chopsticks and spoons should be used in get-together dinner. Keep the mask on when taking the elevator and public transport and when going to crowded places. Practice social distancing by keeping a one-meter distance with others. Wash your hands regularly, ventilate rooms more often, and cover your nose and mouth with your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
4. Seek medical treatment at a nearby fever clinic as soon as possible when symptoms such as fever, dry cough, and fatigue show and inform medical staff of your whereabouts and contact history over the previous 14 days. Keep the mask on and avoid using public transport when seeking treatment.

5月13日0時から24時までの間、江蘇省で新型コロナウイルス肺炎(COVID-19)新規確定感染者がゼロである。5月13日24時現在、江蘇省では確定感染者数は累計721人（そのうち海外からの入国感染者が90人）、指定病院で隔離治療を受けている海外からの入国感染者の8人を除いて、すべての感染者はすでに退院したという。
当日海外から入国した新規の無症状の感染者は4人である。5月13日24時現在、集中隔離と医学的管理を受けている無症状の感染者は24人となるという。
これまで江蘇省では確定感染者・無症状の感染者との濃厚接触者が19030人と確認されたうち、18808人が医学的観察から解除された一方、222人が医学的観察を受けているところだという。
