Fan Jinlong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, met Thursday in Nanjing with Li Jiexiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of northwest China’s Qinghai Province.
Fan Jinlong said that the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government have attached great importance to the pairing-up support between Jiangsu and Hainan Prefecture of Qinghai Province, adding that the pairing-up support is a glorious task assigned by the central government to Jiangsu.
Fan Jinlong said Jiangsu will continue to thoroughly implement the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, gain a deeper understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on deepening cooperation between the east and the west and the pairing-up assistance, and implement the Seventh CPC Central Committee’s Forum on Tibet Work and the National Eastern and Western Cooperation Meeting so as to strengthen the pairing-up support and cooperation between the two provinces.
Li Jiexiang thanked Jiangsu for its long-term selfless assistance. With Jiangsu's strong support, Qinghai achieved the goal of poverty alleviation last year as scheduled.
Noting that this year is the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", Li Jiexiang said that Qinghai will continue to promote consolidating and expanding the achievements in poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
