East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development set forth in this year’s government work report. JSBC has the story.
Lianyungang started the construction of the landscape greening project for Huaguoshan International Airport Avenue.
As one of the important passages leading to the airport, the Yanhe South Road project will connect the high-speed rail station with the new airport, further improve the road network structure in the southern Haizhou area of Lianyungang, and better serve the new airport.
The landscape greening project will add color to this avenue which is 13 meters wide, the widest sub-zone with the green belts on both sides stretching more than 3 meters.

At present

and will soon transplant seedlings
with a total of more than 50 varieties
such as ginkgo, plane tree, magnolia
Zhongshan cedar, heather, and cherry
in a bid to build a greenery avenue
with flowers in three seasons
and evergreen vegetation in four seasons
The Taihu Lake Dike Project in Jiangsu Province is one of the 172 major national water-saving water supply projects that is carried out in Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou.
Since the beginning of this year, Changzhou has accelerated the construction of the project by investing nearly 48 million yuan, strengthening 5.99 kilometers of dikes, building 5.56 kilometers of wave breakers, and rebuilding 1.3 kilometers of roads on top of the dikes.
