The city of Nanjing kicked off its 13th Conference for Overseas Chinese Professionals on Thursday.
You Jun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Han Liming, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, and Hui Jianlin, Deputy Governor, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The "2021 China Nanjing Innovative City Ecological Report" was released at the opening ceremony. 67 national-level post-doctoral research workstations and 72 companies provided numerous project needs and high-paying positions. Nearly 2,000 Chinese students studying and working at the United States, Canada, Germany, Japan and some other countries signed up to participate in the conference. PhDs made up half of the participants, representing software and information services, new medicine and life and health, integrated circuits, and artificial intelligence sectors.
