A maintenance worker in Dafeng district of Yancheng city, Jiangsu province, has been hailed for his superb craftsmanship. 
The thickness of the bulb is 0.4 mm, the diameter of the steel wire is 0.7 mm, and it is operated blindfolded. It is almost impossible for ordinary people to cut the steel wire by hearing and touch.
However, with excellent psychological quality and superb feel, within ten seconds, Liu Yanhu cut off three steel wires and the light bulb was undamaged.

Bold, careful and willing to study, Liu Yanhu has continued to improve his maintenance skills. In 2013, the company's main power transformer fan failed, resulting in a power outage throughout the plant.
After an inspection, Liu Yanhu found that the transformer would be cut off due to the high temperature. The transformer fans are all powered by the same power supply. Once a fan fails, all 6 fans will be shut down.
"The technical drawing is not detailed the line is not clear and there is no fixed number. In October 2020, in order to consolidate its leading position in the field of offshore wind turbines, Jiangsu CRRC Motor Co., Ltd. decided to implement a 12 MW offshore semi-direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind turbine project.
When the product is installed, the annual power generation capacity can meet the annual electricity demand of 145,000 households while the annual carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by more than 27,550 tons.
However, this motor weighs 90 tons, while the maximum weight of the previous motor is only 60 tons,resulting in cracks in the tracks of the production equipment and production was stalled.
Liu Yanhu immediately devoted himself to the improvement work. After repeated parameter comparison and simulation experiments, he finally made it after 48 hours of continuous tackling to ensure that the equipment was upgraded andthe 12 MW motor is off the assembly line.
Jiangsu CRRC Motor Co., Ltd. Now reports 79 GW of total installed capacity of various wind power generation, ranking first in the market share of offshore wind power generation in China.
The Golden Blue Collar Innovation Studio headed by Liu Yanhu has solved more than 100 equipment failures, completed dozens of equipment renovations, and trained more than 900 trainees.
