The city of Suzhou in Jiangsu province kicked off on Tuesday the 29th Intelligent Transportation World Congress Innovation Competition and the second "Gusu Cup" Youth Intelligent Transportation Innovation Technology Application Competition.
Xu Kunlin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Committee, and Wei Guoqiang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, attended the launching ceremony.
Xu Kunlin emphasized that intelligent transportation, as a frontier field of the transportation system, is an important starting point to develop China into a transportation powerhouse.

With the theme of "Future Transportation and Digital Empowerment", the competition focused on intelligent driving, travel services, and innovative applications to launch nationwide competitions so as to explore advanced technologies and outstanding works in the field of intelligent transportation.
