According to the press conference held in Nanjing on June 23, the 11th Jiangsu Book Fair is scheduled to take place at Suzhou International Expo Center, this year’s main venue, from July 7 to 11. Besides, there will be 132 bookstore venuesand two online sub-venues throughout the province.

This year’s book fair will continue to center around readers.Up to 200,000kinds of books will be on display online and around 80,000 kinds of books that come from more than 400 publishers across the country will be on display at Suzhou main venue. Apart from that, there will be170sessions of book signings, new book release, meet-the-authors, etc. during the fair.
Improved Service
The main venue at Suzhou International Expo Center will be interconnected with the sub-venues at 132 bookstores in the province and two online venues accessible by Jiangsu Book Fair mobile app and Phoenix Xinhua platform. Thus, the book fair can reach more readers and evolve into a large-scale book fair with Jiangsu characteristics.
Digital Empowerment
Activities held at the main venue and all sub-venues will be broadcast live eight hours a day in the “Meet You Online” all-media live-streaming session, where the readers can see the exhibition, read books, buy books and interact with other readers via online platform.
The list of Books of Jiangsu 2020 and Most Beautiful Bookstores in Jiangsu 2021 will be announced during the book fair; voting event for “most popular publishers”, “bestsellers”, “most popular reading sessions”, etc. will be held as well.
