Suzhou will promote and regulate bike-sharing service across the city, control the number of shared bikes, and foster a sound momentum of collaborated development of shared bikes and public bicycles, according to the latest news.
Optimize public bicycle system
Up to 139 new public bicycle stations and 2,000 new public bicycles are expected to be put into use this year. In the meantime, 120 stations and 3,500 public bicycles will be upgraded.
Regulate bike-sharing service
Suzhou has promulgated relevant documents, which will come into effect in the second half of the year. By then, station-free bike-sharing service will be further expanded.
