The 13th Provincial People’s Congress will hold its 24th plenary session from July 27 to 30, according to the chairpersons’ meeting held on Monday. Li Xiaomin, Executive Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, chaired the meeting.
It was decided at the meeting that the 24th plenums of the 13th Provincial People’s Congress will be held from July 27 to 30 in Nanjing.
The agenda for the plenum will include reviewing the "Social Credit Regulations of Jiangsu Province (Draft Three Deliberations)".
The plenum will review the proposals made by the meeting of the directors of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress on submitting for deliberation the draft of the decision on the time for the general election of the people's congress at the prefectural, county and township levels.
The plenary session will review the report of the Law Enforcement Inspection Team of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress on the implementation of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Solid Waste Pollution".
Other issues on the agenda include the review of the Provincial Government's implementation of national economic and social development plan for the first half of 2021 in Jiangsu Province and the report on coping with the aging of the population and promoting the construction of a multi-level elderly care service system.
Present at the meeting were vice chairpersons Wang Yanwen, Chen Zhenning, Ma Qiulin, Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Wei Guoqiang, Qu Futian and Secretary General Chen Mengmeng.
