Xijing Bay → Chushan Ecological Park → Mashan Courier Station
Located on Beitaihu Avenue in SND, Xijing Bay is hailed as the most beautiful place in North Taihu Lake area. Apart from natural landscape and fresh air, it also enjoys various kinds of flowers, including pink muhly grass, verbena, sunflower, etc., creating a unique scene where all flowers bloom together and compete with each other for beauty.
With an area of nearly 39 hectares, Chushan Ecological Park lies on the west side of Taihu Dyke and functions as a ecological wetland, a scenic spot for fun and leisure as well as a professional angling base. It is made up of several areas, such as public angling area and wetland sightseeing area, and offers such entertainment events as fitness trail, wooden walkway, lawn wedding, idyllic scenery tour, etc.
Situated on Taihu Dyke, the four-story Mashan Courier Station covers a construction area of 9,500 square meters with multi-functional rooms spread on each floor, including enquiry desk, exhibition hall, leisure area, meeting room, dining room, etc. The open-plan design offers visitors a pleasant atmosphere where they can taste delicious food while admiring Taihu Lake. The special exhibition hall mainly introduces Suzhou Embroidery and Wu Culture.
Huantaihu Avenue provides exclusive and colorful cycleways for cyclists, and is equipped with a great many road signs to ensure their safety.
Suzhou has constantly optimized its rural road network in the past few years, and is among the provincial first to become a demonstration city for the construction, management, maintenance and operation of roads in rural areas.
