China started peak season for parcel delivery on Monday, handling 569 million parcels across the country on that day, the industry's regulator said on Tuesday.
According to State Post Bureau, 569 million parcels were received and sent out, a year-on-year increase of 28.54 percent.
More than 100 million parcels were handled in the provinces of Guangdong and Zhejiang, respectively.
